Automated Install with Installation Profile
An installation profile can now be downloaded from Subscription Manager and used to automate some of the steps when installing products that rely on Subscription Manager authentication. An installation profile is a file that contains the Server ID, Server Secret and Server URL on Subscription Manager. Previously, users had to manually copy these values that are now contained within the file and paste it in the installer when asked.
Landing Page Update
The design of the landing page has been updated to improve user experience and make it easier to navigate to products that users have subscription access to and make navigation easier to XMPro resources such as the XMPro Documentation site and App Store.
Certificate Validation
A certificate that gets uploaded in the installation wizard will now be automatically validated, ensuring that the location path of the certificate is correct, the password specified is valid, and that the private key stored within the certificate has the correct length. In addition to the certificate validation changes, the User Interface has also been modified to improve user experience.
Relying Party OData Service Endpoint Filtering Update
The relying party OData service endpoint now supports filtering on Subscription ID so that applications can request data per subscription.
Installer Support for Upgrading Existing Sites
Support has been added to the installer to support upgrading existing Subscription Manager sites.
