General
The following is required prior to getting started with the installation:
- HTTPS needs to be set up on the server
- .NET Framework 4.5 features needs to be enabled
- You can download the installer from here
The following server specifications are required:
- Windows Server 2012+
- SQL Server 2014+
- IIS 7.0+
- IIS .Net Core Module
- WebSocket Protocol needs to be enabled. Please see the image below.
Subscription Manger: Installation Profile
During the installation process of Data Stream Designer, you will be asked to upload an installation profile. An installation profile is a file that contains information about Subscription Manager. It contains the Server ID, Server Secret, and Server URL of Subscription Manager.
To obtain this file, log into Subscription Manager and open the Products page from the left-hand menu. Next, click on “Installation Profile”. A file will automatically downloaded.
