Action Hub v6.1.x

  1. Rename the new company logo to “logo.png”.
  2. Copy the new logo and overwrite the existing logo file in the website root folder “…\images”.

Additional points to consider when adding a logo:

  • It is recommended that the logo is placed on a transparent background.
  • The logo size will most probably need to be amended/resized. The Action Hub will not limit the size of the logo, meaning that the full size of the logo will be displayed. If the logo height is larger than 50px or the “powered by XMPro” phrase is obscured by the larger logo then some modification to the site styles will be required to display the relevant page objects correctly.
    • In the “…\skins” folder under the relevant skin used for the site, e.g. “Default”, locate and open the styles.css file in a text editor.
    • In the syles.css file locate the “div.left” style and change the “top” attribute to an appropriate size, i.e, increase the current value (70px) to a relevant size so that the “powered by XMPro” phrase is visible under the logo.
If any changes to files or skins are made it is a recommended practice to keep documentation of the customizations/changes made as well as a backup of the original and amended files. This will be useful in situations where site restores are needed or during an upgrade process.
