Setting up IIS 8 for XMPro on Windows 2012 server

• Open the Server Manager
• Under the Manage menu (top right), select Add Roles and Features:

• Select Role-based or Feature-based Installation:

• Select the appropriate server (local is selected by default), as shown below:

• Select Web Server (IIS) and Application Server:

• Under Application Server, make sure .NET Framework and Web Server (IIS) Support are selected:

• Under Web Server (IIS), select the options as shown below:

 

NOTE: IIS6 Metabase is only applicable to XMPro prior to v6.1, it is not required for XMPro v6.1 +.

• Select .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.5 Features and click Next:

• Click Next:

• Accept the default settings that have already been selected for you, and then click Next:

• Click Install:

• When the IIS installation completes, the wizard reflects the installation status:

• Click Close to exit the wizard.
