Receiving a ‘Method___not found’ Message when using the DLL Connector

Issue

When executing a DLL Connector integration, an error message stating ‘Method__not found’ is received.

This error message can be confusing for the user as it can be received even if the method does exist in the DLL. The message often points to a problem with the input parameters for the method. When one of the controls mapped to an input parameter is blank, the DLL connector fails to correctly execute the method.

Resolution

Check that all required input parameters are mapped to fields on the activityA specific step in a process.  It will be the user interface for that step (web form or a screen), for example, the Leave Application (screen interface or web form) will be the first Activity in the Leave Requisition process.  The Leave Application Authorization will be the second step or Activity in the Leave Requisition process.  One Process can have multiple activities. and that all these fields have a value before the integration is executed.
