How Can We Help?
Problem:
I have an Email Monitoring configured in XMAutomate which monitors specific Email and initiates an XMPro task if there is a new Email.
Sample Email configuration:
This configuration monitors any new email with the subject: “Test Email” and initiates the process.
When the Email Monitoring is no longer needed, I removed the activityA specific step in a process. It will be the user interface for that step (web form or a screen), for example, the Leave Application (screen interface or web form) will be the first Activity in the Leave Requisition process. The Leave Application Authorization will be the second step or Activity in the Leave Requisition process. One Process can have multiple activities. using the Remove Activity button. However, email is still being monitored and whenever there is a matching email the process is still initiated even though the activity has already been removed.
Solution:
In XMPro database, fcEventTriggers table will hold all the information related to Email/Time based events and their executions.
When removing the Email Polling from the Management Console, the associated entries from “fcEventTriggers” table should also be removed. Ensure that in the “fcEventTriggers” table there is no row matching the Email Polling definition removed. If there is any row with ‘EventDefinition’ that matches the removed email polling, delete that specific row from “fcEventTriggers” table.
