Managing Users (Overview)

Each user can have subscriptions to a number of products in XMPro, as long as their company has subscriptions to each of those products. If a company needs a subscription to a product, a license request needs to be submitted by an administrator of that company. This request needs to be approved by an XMPro Administrator. As soon as the request is approved, an administrator of that company can either manually grant access to the new subscription to a user or grant a request that was submitted by a user.

If you are an XMPro Administrator, you can access the subscriptions and users of any company from the Company flow (the collection of pages that you can access from the Companies page).

Open the detail page for a company by selecting a company on the Companies page. Note that there are two gauges on the page: Subscriptions and Users. If you click on the Subscriptions gauge, you will be shown a list of subscriptions the selected company has. Selecting a product from this list will display a list of users in the selected company that have a subscription on that product.

The number indicated on the Subscriptions gauge represents the amount of subscriptions that have been granted to the selected company compared to the number of products available.

A complete list of users in a specific company can be accessed by clicking on the Users gauge. Select a user from the list to view the subscriptions granted to him/ her.

The value of the Users gauge represents the total number of users registered to a company (including those that do not have a subscription to a product).

To view the details of an administrative user in a specific company, select a user from the list on the detail page of a company. Please note that no user is allowed to edit any of the profile information of another user. If you have administrative rights, you are only allowed to view the details of another user.

Please follow the Managing Subscriptions and Access guide for detailed instructions on how to manage subscriptions in XMPro Subscription Manager.
